Dr Shane Conway, Researcher in the Rural Studies Unit at NUI Galway and with the National Rural Network has recently published a paper in the international Journal of Agricultural Management entitled ‘Mobilising Land Mobility in the European Union: An Under-researched Phenomenon’.
This paper focusses on the key policy and structural issues hampering access to agricultural land throughout Europe and uses the Republic of Ireland’s Land Mobility Service as a good practice example of how to help facilitate the process.
