A past winner of Crufts, which is one of the largest international dog shows that takes place in the UK every year, has availed of LEADER funding to establish a pet crematorium in Belturbet, Co. Cavan.
Ralph Dunne, the proprietor of Cavan Pet Crematorium, approached Cavan Local Development in 2018 to avail of LEADER funding to renovate a previous family car garage used in the motoring trade to establish a pet crematorium.
Speaking on Shannonside Northern Sound, Ralph stated that “cremation is a very dignified and compassionate way to dispose of your pet, it’s very clean and very environmentally friendly”.
