Irish Rural Link has set out a 4-part seminar series to address Health and Wellbeing in Rural Areas. This series addresses a number of issues including Independent Living, Staying Connected and aspects such as Rural Isolation.
Dr. Aisling Moroney, Policy Officer with Social Farming Ireland and representatives from Mental Health Ireland and the Irish Mens Sheds Organisation came together on November 26th to discuss Rural Isolation and how this can be addressed via a number of different ongoing initiatives such as Social Farming.
