The first All-Ireland Pollinator plan received enormous support throughout the country and covered the period 2015-2020. An updated version is currently under design for the period 2021-2025 and it must be as positive and as ambitious as possible to have maximum impact. Your help is needed!

Did you know that there are 98 bee species in Ireland, and one third of these are threatened with extinction? Threats to our bee populations arise from the drastic reduction in the amount of food (flowers) and safe nesting sites in our landscape. The All Ireland Pollinator Plan needs everybody from farmers to local authorities, schools, gardeners and business to come together and create the landscape where pollinators thrive.
