The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) serves as a hub for exchange of information on how Rural Development policy, programmes, projects and other initiatives are working in practice and how they can be improved to achieve more. Its work aims to engage and reach anyone with an interest in and commitment to rural development in Europe.
Each month, the ENRD publish a newsletter, the most recent of which is now available online. This newsletter provides an update on ENRD and wider rural development activities throughout Europe. It also showcases a LEADER supported ‘project of the month’, features various publications of interest, and contains details on past and upcoming events throughout Europe.
Featured in the publications section of the August 2022 edition is the NRN’s LEADER Food Initiative booklet which showcases a diverse range of projects supported under the initiative throughout rural Ireland.
The second edition of the NRN’s Smart Villages and Rural Towns in Ireland newsletter, inspired by the EU Action for Smart Villages initiative and the seven principles of LEADER, is showcased in the publications section of the July 2022 edition of the newsletter.
