The Changing Ireland magazine featured the Community Hub project with the Sligo Centre for Independent Living (SCIL) in its last issue.
The SCIL noted that many of their members were finding it difficult to integrate into their communities despite a desire to do so. The project set out to tackle this issue directly by developing a community hub to create a suitable space for all of the community to be able to meet and engage. This, first of its kind in Ireland, community hub is based in the heart of Sligo town.
