The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue T.D., has issued a call for proposals for Agri-Food Tourism Initiatives under the 2021 Rural Innovation and Development Fund.
Agri-food tourism includes a wide variety of activities that involve deepening the links between agriculture and food produced at the local or regional level and can encompass a range of activities including food tours, tourism accommodation or even direct selling.
A total of €275,000 is being made available to support projects with a maximum of €25,000 being made available for each project. The closing date for applications is Friday March 5th.
