On 15th November 2021, the National Rural Network (NRN) hosted an online conference, entitled ‘30 Years of LEADER: Learning from the Past, Looking to the Future’. The event, attended by almost 300 delegates from across Ireland and abroad, provided an opportunity to reflect on past and current programmes, and to debate rural policy and practice in the context of the next LEADER Programme. The NRN has now published a full report detailing the main events and lessons learned from the conference.
The NRN welcomed a prestigious line up of rural development experts from Policy, Research and Practice to speak at the 2021 LEADER conference. This Conference Report draws together the key messages emerging from the event, focusing on the lessons learned from each of the guest speakers, panel discussions and LEADER themed workshops. It also contains links to the conference programme, the full conference recording, a diverse range of presentations given on the day and various other useful LEADER resources.
The NRN LEADER Conference Report is available to view in full here.
