The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, recently announced details of the €180 million LEADER Programme for 2023-2027. The major investment will support locally-led rural development and enterprise projects over the next five years. The selection process for the new LEADER Programme will be conducted over two stages; the first stage is an ‘Expression of Interest’ by eligible groups followed by a more detailed stage which will involve the development of LEADER strategies.
On the 10th of November 2022, the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) in conjunction with the NRN hosted an information webinar on the selection process for Local Action Groups (LAGs) to deliver the 2023-2027 LEADER programme.

Stage 1 of the selection process is now open and completed ‘Expression of Interest’ forms must be submitted by email to email@example.com before 5.30pm on Friday 16th of December 2022.
