13 local groups share almost €380k of LEADER funding to support the development of play facilities in Wexford

Wexford Local Development (WLD) and Wexford Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) have announced the allocation of €379,714 towards the costs of developing ten new playgrounds, one multi user games area and two outdoor gyms in County Wexford.  

Thirteen community groups successfully completed the application and evaluation process, and today their efforts were rewarded with an allocation of funding under the current LEADER Programme. 

Since launching the current LEADER programme in Wexford at the end of 2016, the LCDC has allocated a total of €2,357,877 between community groups and private businesses to support community developments and the creation of jobs in County Wexford.
