Meath River RescueMeath River Rescue Search and Recovery Service is a voluntary service which was set up in the community of Navan in 1996. The Meath River Rescue Service provides a very specialised service within the community of Navan and in adjacent communities. This LEADER project supported Meath River Rescue to upgrade equipment, including boat engines and diving suits, to allow them to continue to carry out search and recovery activities in a more efficient and safer manner for their volunteers.
