All farmers interested in grants to build or improve farm buildings and equipment on their holding will be interested in the new TAMS3 investment list and associated reference costs. Details of these can be found here.
TAMS3 Solar Capital Investment Scheme launched on 22 February 2023. The new TAMS is more aligned to our climate and sustainability needs through continued and enhanced support for renewable energy, low emission slurry spreading equipment and organic farmers. In order to encourage the purchase of solar investments thereby reducing dependence on fossil fuels by farmers, the solar scheme will be ring fenced with its own investment ceiling of €90,000 and will be grant aided at the enhanced rate of 60%.
For more information on Solar Capital Investment and Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme 3 (TAMS 3), see here.
It is proposed that the first tranche for all schemes will close on the 16th of June 2023.
