The National Rural Network celebrated this year’s International Day of Rural Women on the 15th of October 2021 by highlighting the pivotal role women play in Irish agriculture through our ‘Irish Women in Agriculture Video Series’.
This insightful series details the experiences of five women involved in different sectors of agriculture and showcases their dedication and commitment to farming. The United Nations’ International Day of Rural Women formally celebrates and honours the role of rural women recognising rural women’s importance in enhancing agricultural and rural development worldwide.
