A fourth sub scheme under the TAMS 3 programme was announced recently by Minister McConalogue and Minister of State Pippa Hackett.
The Organic Capital Invest Scheme will provide grant aid to farmers for capital investments and equipment to develop their organic enterprise. This grant aid complements the significance increase in organic farming which has doubled in the last 12 months.
The higher grant rate also stresses the importance of developing this sector and increasing the sustainable farm land.
As tranche 1 of TAMS 3 opened earlier this year with a 5 year investments budget this scheme forms part of the 10 sub schemes expected to open by Mid-June 2023.
