Entrepreneurial Young Trained Farmer Case Study Featured in the Media

Jun 18, 2021 | Farm Viability News

Entrepreneurial Young Trained Farmer

The National Rural Network’s Entrepreneurial Young Trained Farmer case study on 27-year-old Karol Devaney from Drumcliffe, Co. Sligo was featured in a number of leading local and regional newspapers in the west of Ireland over the past few weeks, including the Sligo Champion, the Sligo Weekender and the Leitrim Observer.

This case study aims to inspire young farmers like Karol to actively engage with, and avail of the various schemes and supports available to them under Ireland’s Rural Development Programme (RDP), as well as to ‘think outside the box’ in relation to the future trajectory of their career in farming by embracing innovative diversification practices.
