The McGillycuddy Reeks Project EIP-AGRI Operational Group have recently published the Spring 2022 edition of their Newsletter. It looks back on what has been accomplished so far by the project and what the team have planned for the coming months. You can read the newsletter here.
This project aims to improve the sustainability and economic viability of farming in the MacGillycuddy Reeks through the development of practical, achievable actions and innovative solutions to address the issues facing farmers on the Reeks, and to protect the biodiversity of this unique Natura 2000 area.
The project now covers over 700 hectares of High Nature Value farmland on the Reeks.
