The National Rural Network ran an EIP-AGRI Bioeconomy Awareness Campaign as part of Ireland’s Bioeconomy Week 2021 that ran from the 18th to 22nd of October 2021.
This innovative initiative provided farmers and rural dwellers with an insight into the types of locally-led bioeconomy projects that the EIP-AGRI initiative has funded ‘on-the-ground’ at farm level under Ireland’s Rural Development Programme (RDP). Such an insight is particularly important as rural Ireland learns to adapt, rebuild and re-energize as part of Ireland’s COVID-19 crisis recovery response.
