The Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS II) Tranche 23 will close to applications on November 5th, 2021. Tranche 24 will open on November 6th,2021 and will close on January 14th, 2022. It is expected to have further tranches in 2022 but dates for these tranches are not yet confirmed.
When discussing applications with their clients, TAMS II agents and advisors need to ensure they have the most up-to-date version of TAMS II Reference Costings and TAMS II Terms & Conditions.
Scheme Payments Update (up to September 6th, 2021):
There have been 43,678 approvals issued to farmers since the scheme’s inception. Of these, 23,642 payment applications have been submitted.
The total payment amount made to the scheme participants to date: Total of €305m which includes €11.513m Transitional Spend.
