Reduce Your Energy Use with e-Learning from the SEAI Energy Academy

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has launched a free e-learning module for the agriculture sector on the SEAI Energy Academy.

Developed in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine, this tailored module Energy Efficiency in Agriculture is aimed at helping farms reduce their energy related costs.

Between 8% and 15% of a farm’s overhead expenses are spent on energy every year. SEAI can help to lower your energy bills by as much as 10% by changing energy use behaviours

Advice on energy efficiency is provided for beef and sheep, tillage, horticulture, dairying, and pigs and poultry sectors of farming.
