LIFE Programme
The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. Created in 1992, it has co-financed thousands of projects. The LIFE programme 2021-2027 is managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), has a budget of €5.4 billion and is divided into four sub-programmes:
- Nature and biodiversity
- Circular economy and quality of life
- Climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Clean energy transition
CINEA have scheduled virtual information days on the 25th and 26th April 2023 to assist as a guide to potential applicants through the LIFE 2023 Calls for application process.
LIFE Call for proposals 2023 will be published in Mid-Apr on the funding and tender opportunities portal and calls for Clean energy transition will be published Mid-May and CINEA will be hosting a further virtual information session on this call on June 1st.
