Many farmers apply for schemes to help benefit the viability and improve the sustainability of their farms. The Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine are responsible for the roll out of many schemes.
Some of the schemes available involve funding which can come from a number of sources namely the National Exchequer or Rural Development Programme.
