Important Deadlines for Farmers to Note

Many farmers apply for schemes to help benefit the viability and improve the sustainability of their farms. The Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine are responsible for the roll out of many schemes.

Some of the schemes available involve funding which can come from a number of sources namely the National Exchequer or Rural Development Programme.

April and May are key months for some key applications for schemes or regulations.

The table below highlights upcoming important dates for farmer’s calendars. The following dates are correct as of April 10th and may be subject to change.
