The 2020 Rural Inspirations Awards are now open for entries. This is its second year running on the back of its success in 2019. Every year the awards focus on a different theme and this year’s focus is on good practice projects supported by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) that promote rural climate action and/or the bioeconomy.
This is broken into three thematic categories:
- Bioeconomy
- Climate change mitigation
- Climate change adaptation
In addition to there being an award for each category, a Popular Vote Award will also be given and decided via an online voting system. The Award ceremony is due to be held at the ENRD Bioeconomy and Climate Action Seminar in June 2020.

Please send completed entry forms to Teresa@irishrurallink.ie by Friday the 28th of February. Entries can only be submitted via the National Rural Network.
