The National Rural Network’s (NRN) LEADER Impact campaign aimed to celebrate the impact of the LEADER Programme, which has been in operation in Ireland since 1991, on Rural Communities across Ireland.

Entrants to this campaign were asked to prepare a short video detailing the impacts of their LEADER funded project under the 2014 – 2020 LEADER Programme. One winner per each theme was selected via a public vote process and these are as follows:

• Theme 1: Economic Development, Enterprise Development & Job Creation – The Forge project, Churchill, Co. Kerry
• Theme 2: Social Inclusion – The Dynamics Violin Project, Dundalk, Co. Louth
• Theme 3: Rural Environment – Environmental Workshop Series, Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin.

The NRN would like to congratulate the winners and thank all of the projects who submitted an entry.
